About Me
My Story
Sewing has been a passion of mine since I was nine years old. I come from a long line of seamstresses and quilters. Several of my grandmothers, my mom and aunt were quilters. It was a skill we all enjoyed and made memories together. As a small child I played underneath quilts as my great grandmother and her church friends hand quilted bed quilts for fundraisers. So when a good friend of mine introduced me to quilt top piecing in 1982, it wasn’t completely foreign to me.
For years my mom encouraged me to invest in a long arm quilting machine. She knew how much I loved piecing quilts, and knew I dreamed of being able to create my quilts beginning to end. I hesitated, due to the cost and space requirements. Unfortunately, she passed away before she was able to see me realize my dream of owning my own long arm quilting machine. I know she is looking down and smiling each time I load another quilt to complete.

All my quilting services are performed on my Gammill Statler Stitcher.
